Nautilus Sea Explorer Scout Unit was established in 2021 by 6 scouts from Chorlton Scout Group who had reached the upper age limit for their scout troop but did not want to leave the group to continue scouting.

The Explorer Scout Unit within UK Scouting is a district based provision, so is a legally separate entity from Chorlton Scout Group, however  we operate closely under a partnership agreement.

The Explorer Unit has a separate meeting place to Chorlton’s Buckingham Road base – We’re based at Hough End, M21 7TL
