Chorlton Scout Group offers weekend hall hire of our Buckingham Road site for community use for children’s birthday parties or similar. Two 3hour slots are offered on Saturdays and Sundays. 10am-1pm or 2p-5pm, alternatively Afternoon parties can be 4 hours long 2pm-5pm.
Each slot costs £70 for the 3 hours or £90 for 4hours . Bookings can be made via our online portal HERE.
Our Max rated building capacity is 49 people.

Peppercorn Lodge is our main location in the heart of Chorlton. Featuring:
A Hall 12m x 7m with seating for 49 (7 6ft Tables, 14 Benches and 7 chairs)
A Catering Kitchen with oven, 5 ring hob, kettles, microwave etc.
An accessible unisex toilet facility with baby change
Peppercorn Lodge has no parking facilities – please park on the street with consideration for our neighbours.
Bouncy Castles – Inflatables and Bouncy Castles are permitted for Indoor use, the ceiling height is 8.5ft at each end and 10ft in the centre, we recommend 8ft high castles. Bouncy Castles and and inflatables can be used outdoors but you must ensure your supplied anchors them with weights rather than pegs – we do not allow peg anchors to be driven into the lawn.

From 1st April 2025 we now offer 3 standard hall hire packages on Saturday and Sundays
10am-1pm OR 2pm-5pm – 3hrs Hire for £70.00 or 2pm-6pm – 4hrs Hire for £90.00
Minimum Hire term is 3hrs. As we are in a residential area we do not offer evening hires for parties except for Friday an Saturday evenings and this must finish by 9.00pm.
Extensions are sometimes available at a cost of £25ph
7 Hour bookings are possible for £140.00 – book 2 slots and the hour gap in-between is automatically included. Our Max hire is 8 hours for £160, which is bookable by booking a 3 hour party in the morning, a 4 hour in the afternoon and the hour gap in-between is automatically included.
