Beavers and Cubs raise £150 for St Anns Hospice

Date: 4th Aug 2021 Author: Chorlton Scouts

We were saddened to hear that a member of the Manchester South Scouting family, Rachel Hall recently passed away after a long illness. Rachel was brilliantly looked after throughout her illness and at the end of her life by St Anns Hospice so we could think of no better way to honour her by raising some money to support their vital work.

At the last meeting of term, our Beavers and Cubs were given the opportunity to spend their pocket money on splatting their leaders with wet sponges! At the end of the week we had some very wet leaders and a very full collection bucket with £150 raised.
