Who Can Take Part?

There are 56 youth places available for this expedition.

To take part, Scouts must be born between:
7 August 2009 and 31 December 2016

Places are limited and expected to be in high demand

Where You’ll Stay

We’ll be based at the incredible Úlfljótsvatn Scout and Adventure Centre—the northernmost Scout centre in the world.

Set beside a stunning lake and surrounded by mountains, it offers the perfect base for adventure.

  • Indoor accommodation in shared bunk rooms (4–8 people)
  • Full board catering provided
  • Safe, purpose-built Scout environment

Your Iceland Adventure

The week will be packed with unforgettable experiences, including:

  • 🥾 Expedition Challenge Hike – test your skills in real Icelandic terrain
  • 🌋 Golden Circle Tour – including Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall, and the Great Geysir
  • ♨️ Hot Springs Hike – relax in natural geothermal waters
  • 🚣 White Water Rafting on the Hvítá River
  • 🏙️ Visit to Reykjavík – explore Iceland’s vibrant capital

Total cost: £1,250

This includes:

  • Return flights from Manchester Airport
  • All transport in Iceland
  • Accommodation and food

Payment Schedule:

  • £150 deposit – by 1 June 2026
  • £300 – by end of September 2026
  • £300 – by end of December 2026
  • £300 – by end of March 2027
  • £200 – by end of June 2027

Participants will need a valid passport.
