A Scout Hostel in the Heart of Manchester 

Acquired in 2023, Chorlton Scout Activity Centre is a small residential activity centre located near to central Manchester. Owned by Chorlton Scout Group, the residential centre is exclusively available to members groups of the scout association. Our centre is ideally located for access to Manchester or for hosting pack holidays, patrol Leader camps, adult training etc.

The Centre is comprised of 2 buildings – The Bunk House and the Youth Centre.

The Bunk House is equipped with 3 bedrooms ranging from 4-8 beds. With a total of 18 Beds. Upto 36 people can be accommodated on the floor in the main hall. Bringing the centre’s capacity to 54 people.

The bunk House has ample space for dining and is equipped with a fully fitted kitchen as well as toilet and shower facilities.

To complement the Bunk House we have the Youth Centre, this building has large hall with seating for 54.

What makes the Youth centre different to your usual Scout centres are the games rooms and arcade. In here you’ll find American pool, air hockey and over a dozen retro arcade machines.

Prices and Booking Enquires

Chorlton Scout Activity Centre is let on an exclusive occupancy basis, if available your group will have the place to themselves. Includes 18 beds, exclusive use of the main hall and access to the games and arcade rooms.

Hough End Hire Tariff:

Per 24hr Period – £260 External, £220 Scouts, £200 Man South Scouts

12 hr Day Hire – £150.00

Hourly Hire not available at this site.
